Here’s a quick bass lesson on playing the bass line to Come Together by Paul McCartney. This is a simplified version that’s aimed at getting beginners through the tune.

Really enjoyed learning this today! Thanks!
Cool! Glad to help!
Yeah, Paul! What a great song and what a great lesson! But I have a question for you…
I know that this is a simplified version, but I would to know the little three variatons that McCartney plays over the main riff. Could you tab those little three variations? Not much work! And I and the rest of your followers would have the song absolutely completed
THANK you once again Paul, after learning from you how to play brown sugar by ROLLING STONES,to learn something by the BEATLES its a must! so here i go again! my new challenge! should be fun as usual! take care!
thanks man, glad to finally learn a Beatles tune. I'm normally into metal and country (i know, odd mix), which as you can imagine can get very dull very fast.
Thanks again!
Flea – Give It Away..must copied this riff
If you listen to the isolated bass track, after the initial D-D he's doing a hammer-on (no pick) then sliding all the way up the D string to the F. He doesn't go to the G string.
Great lesson – thanks, Paul! :)
Side question. Is that a black pearloid pick guard?
