This lesson is the latest in the Music Theory For Bass Guitar series. This time out I’m looking at how to create chords on the Bass using all the chord construction principles we used in the earlier lessons. The major triads are covered along with some general harmony concepts like the use of primary triads in a key and how they sound and feel in relation to each other.

I hope you are planning on doing a series of videos on chord tones and harmony next, there are some other guys doing chord tone&harmony tutorials (despite claiming they're meant for beginners and pros alike) but they mostly end up showing off their chops and confusing people, they may be great bass virtuosos but they lack your great teaching skills and approach, please keep up the good work, much respect.
I'm practicing these exercises for a week but still my fingers can't flex to more than two notes at the same time. My second finger curves outside when I try to push down the strings. And they can't move independently; I place my second finger, then third, but when I try to get my first finger on the root they all slide.
Any advice?
